Green Apple Cinnamon Smoothie

Smoothies make a quick nutrient-dense breakfast! I love this one adapted from That Clean Life.

Cinnamon is a great addition to your morning smoothie as it has been proven to help regulate blood sugar. Poor blood sugar regulation can be dangerous and does not promote optimal health that is ideal for fertility. Blood sugar imbalance may lead to more serious concerns such as insulin resistance. Insulin resistance has been directly related to PCOS and can play factor in infertility.


Green Apple Cinnamon Smoothie

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 2 Apples (peeled, cored and chopped)

  • 4 Kiwi (peeled and sliced)

  • 2 tbsp Hemp Seeds

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  • 2 cups Coconut Milk

  • 4 cups of Baby Spinach

Directions:

  1. Place apple, kiwi, hemp seeds, cinnamon and coconut milk in a blender and blend well. Then add in baby spinach and blend again. Pour and enjoy it!
